JOSH SELIG-VOTAW

A trusted authority on digital marketing, media strategy and data analysis, Josh designs solutions and uncovers areas of opportunities that help businesses grow and evolve. His experience includes leading and developing omnichannel marketing strategies in ecommerce, CPG, insurance, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, home services, pharmaceuticals, higher education, senior living, automotive, law firms, banking and finance, real estate, specialty medical and hospitals. 

Prior to Crux, Josh started as an account supervisor at iFocus Marketing and worked his way up to the role of EVP Agency and Partner Relations and COO where he oversaw the development and launch of new technologies, client strategy development, client marketing plans, operational management, as well as P&L across each department. During his tenure, Josh was responsible for growth in agency partner relationships, including consecutive years of 50%+ growth, as well as resource planning, developing, hiring and mentoring the firm’s employee base, which he helped grow from a team of five to 45+. 

His previous roles include account management at Intouch Solutions—where he effectively and efficiently manage development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and website project plans from start through completion—account management at PlattForm Advertising and social media management at JW Pepper Sheet Music. 

For two decades Josh has served as a coach for world and regionally renowned high school and university competitive color guard programs. He formerly served as an executive board member for The Kansas City Free Eye Clinic and public relations director for the Mid-Continent Color Guard Association. He’s a five-time KCDMA AMBITs Awards winner, a two-time Kansas City Business Journal NexGen Leader Nominee and a Thinking Bigger Media 25 Under 25 Small Business Award winner. 

When he’s not supporting PPC and digital marketing strategies, Josh can be found exploring food spots in KC, discovering off-the-beaten-path house music, or spending time with his partner, daughter and 11-year-old Basenji mix, Mya.
