Crux, Burcham investment featured in Kansas City Business Journal

“Former Mobank CEO Burcham invests in KC marketing agency”

By: Leslie Collins Crux KC is racking up the wins this year, from landing a key investment from the ex-CEO of Mobank to being named as a Top 10 Small Business by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Melea McRae, a 2021 Women Who Mean Business honoree, founded the marketing agency in 2016. Since June 2020, its head count has grown 118%, bringing the employee base to 22. It also ended 2020 with 40% revenue growth and is on track to bolster revenue by 60% this year, McRae told the Kansas City Business Journal.
