Producer

JOB SUMMARY:

This Producer will be pivotal in conceptualizing, managing, and delivering photography, video, photo and podcast content that enhances our clients’ brand storytelling and campaign success. The ideal candidate is both a creative visionary and an organized project manager, capable of turning ideas into engaging video content that connects with audiences across digital, social, and traditional platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Video Strategy: Partner with marketing, digital and creative teams to identify opportunities where video can be leveraged effectively. Evaluate project needs to determine when video is the best tactic and upsell video solutions to maximize impact on campaigns and initiatives.
  • Creative Briefing and Development: Work with marketing teams to craft complete creative briefs for AV assignments. Clearly communicate the intended message and client expectations to creative teams to inform concept development, storyboards and scripts. Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, writers, designers and marketing pods to develop video and podcast concepts that align with business objectives, brand voice, and marketing goals.
  • Project Management and Production: Manage all stages of photography, audio and video production, including pre-production planning, production scheduling, budgeting, and post-production oversight, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate on-location and studio shoots, ensuring high-quality production standards and post-production output. Work closely with internal teams, including traffic managers, writers, designers, and marketing pods to schedule and manage projects, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated and deadlines are met. Collaborate with outsource partners to align on workflow, approvals and schedules.
  • Bidding and Estimating: Create detailed, transparent bids for photo, video and audio projects, ensuring accurate scope, timelines and budget alignment through collaboration with internal teams and contractors.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for the marketing team and clients during video projects, providing regular updates, incorporating feedback, and ensuring a smooth production process.
  • Resourcing and Talent Management: Oversee the hiring and management of freelance and contract talent for photo, video, animation and podcast production. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including leadership, to ensure the right professionals are selected for each project, matching skillsets to production needs.
  • Publishing and Asset Management: Ensure final files meet the technical requirements and posting schedule for various distribution channels. Oversee an organized library of video assets, including footage, graphics, and project files, to ensure easy access for future use or revisions.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay current with industry trends, emerging video technologies, and storytelling techniques to continually elevate the quality and impact of digital content.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video production within a studio, marketing firm or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality photo, video and podcast content across various platforms, including digital, social, and broadcast.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with editing software, camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
