For Emily, it’s all about relationships. Before joining Team Crux, she got her start in sales and operations in the solar industry. This combination provided a unique perspective on the business, allowing her to study and improve internal processes, as well as the relationship between her team and business owners.

Her experience with a range of communication mediums began at a young age when she was selected to join her high school’s award-winning broadcast journalism program. Thriving in that program is what inspired her to seek her Bachelor’s in mass communications and journalism from UMKC.

When Emily isn’t working, you will find her spoiling her three dogs, Auggie, Nova and Sylvie, or binge-watching the latest true crime docuseries. Since she just moved back to KC, Emily is looking forward to being able to spend more time with her friends and family.
