JOB SUMMARY:

We’re on the hunt for a Writer/Producer who can do it all—craft compelling written content, produce engaging multimedia assets and manage projects from start to finish. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Content Strategy:
    • Partner with marketing, digital and creative teams to develop content strategies that amplify brand messaging and drive results.
    • Strategically plan and execute content across blogs, articles, social media, video scripts, podcasts and email campaigns.
    • Leverage SEO best practices to optimize content for search and performance.
  • Writing and Content Creation:
    • Craft clear, compelling and on-brand content that tells a story—whether it’s a blog post, a video script, a social media caption or a podcast intro.
    • Transform complex concepts into easy-to-understand messaging that’s both informative and engaging.
    • Maintain a sharp editorial eye to ensure all content is polished, error-free and true to the brand voice.
  • On-Set Presence:
    • Serve as the go-to content expert on set for video shoots, ensuring scripts are brought to life effectively and align with the creative vision.
    • Collaborate closely with directors, videographers and production teams to guide narrative flow and capture key messaging.
    • Provide real-time feedback and direction during shoots to keep projects on track and on brand.
  • Creative Briefing and Development:
    • Work closely with marketing teams to craft insightful creative briefs that inspire and guide the development of written and multimedia content.
    • Partner with creative directors, designers, videographers and other team members to develop concepts, storyboards and scripts that align with business goals.
    • Ensure all creative outputs are cohesive, on-brand and strategically sound.
  • Project Management and Production:
    • Own the content production process from concept to completion—planning, budgeting, scheduling and managing every detail.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content assets.
    • Keep projects moving smoothly by maintaining an organized content calendar and tracking deadlines, deliverables and approvals.
  • Multimedia Content Production:
    • Oversee the production of video and audio content, ensuring high standards of quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate with photographers, videographers and audio engineers to create engaging multimedia content.
    • Review and refine video and audio scripts to ensure clarity, tone and messaging are spot-on.
  • Bidding and Estimating:
    • Develop detailed, transparent bids and estimates for content projects, ensuring budget alignment through collaboration with internal teams and contractors.
    • Present project proposals to clients with confidence and clarity, ensuring they understand the value and scope of each project.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for the marketing team and clients throughout the content production process.
    • Provide regular updates, gather and incorporate feedback seamlessly and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Present content concepts, storylines and drafts to clients for approval, ensuring alignment with their vision and goals.
  • Publishing and Asset Management:
    • Manage the publishing of content across multiple platforms, ensuring all assets meet technical requirements and posting schedules.
    • Oversee an organized library of written and multimedia assets for easy access and future use.
  • Innovation and Trends:
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in content marketing, writing styles and multimedia production.
    • Experiment with new formats, storytelling techniques and platforms to keep content fresh and engaging.
    • Bring innovative ideas to the table that challenge the status quo and push the brand forward.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in content writing, production or a related field within a marketing agency, media company or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality written and multimedia content that drives engagement across various platforms.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience being on set for video shoots, with a knack for providing real-time direction and ensuring brand alignment.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
