We’re looking for a talented and energetic individual to assist our Digital Marketing & Social Media team to help execute strategic and effective marketing plans for our clients.
You’ll work with other members of the Crux team to support integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns. You should be extremely detail-oriented and able to understand how marketing solutions drive business success. We’re looking for someone who is both organized and curious. You’ll contribute to creating captivating content that connects with our clients’ audiences and tells their brand story in a powerful way. You’ll have exposure to team leadership and client contacts, giving you real world experience to add to your resume.
INTERN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in crafting social media content for a range of B2B and B2C clients across a variety of social platforms
- Collaborates with the team to help conduct SEO keyword research using dedicated software and generates new keyword ideas
- Supports the Digital Team in analyzing websites and social media pages to make optimize for traffic gains
- Supports the Digital Team in analyzing web analytics for insightsusing Google Analytics
- Writes compelling posts and creates graphics that contribute to each client’s overall marketing plan and goals
- Works with the account and creative teams to create compelling visuals to increase engagement
- Assists in updating analytics dashboards and some paid media optimizations in Google Ads and social media ad accounts. Understands and stays up to date with emerging social technologies
- Research market and industry trends to support ongoing client marketing efforts
- Research audience demographics and engagement trends to support goals
- Contributes strategy ideas based on best practices and trends
- Update existing documentation & support the creation of new process documentation
Structure:
- 10-week paid internship
- 25-30 hours/week
- Location: Kansas City, MO in Crown Center
INTERN QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Proficient with social media platforms.
- Ability to grasp emerging trends in digital technology and adapt appropriately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Pro would be recommended but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- HTML, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and JavaScript experience would be recommended but is not required
- Exceptional skill in writing and proofreading.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) would be recommended but not required. A curiosity for how digital marekting analytics functions is most important!
- A self-starter (proactive versus reactive in style).
- Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing start-up work environment.
Requirements:
You must be a current college student enrolled in an accredited university and have existing residential accommodations in the Kansas City metro area. This is an in-office position with one day remote, all work is conducted in Kansas City office.
