Shae Perry was born and raised in St. Louis. With a degree in film and a background in video and radio, Shae brings both a strong work ethic and a unique creative vision to Crux. An on-air radio talent and event organizer in the nonprofit space, Shae has a knack for building rapport with companies, organizations and community leaders from a variety of backgrounds.

A former brand ambassador for Big Brothers Big Sisters KC, Shae is adept at public speaking and event planning and understands the vital importance of community outreach and relationship building – no matter the industry. From engaging scripts and social content to event production, promotion and support, Shae leans into her project management experience to deliver for any audience.

When she’s not coordinating deliverables or volunteering for a great cause, Shae can be found playing competitive league basketball or moonlighting as radio personality Deona HuSTLe on KPRS Hot 103 Jamz, the oldest continually Black family-owned radio station in the country.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis on film and media arts from University of Missouri – Kansas City.
